To allow time for travel to and from London airports please book flights arriving no later than 17.00 (Heathrow) and 16.00 (Gatwick), and departing no earlier than 14.00 (Heathrow) and 15.00 (Gatwick).
Heathrow Airport: There are regular direct National Express coaches to Exeter. Ticket for the return journey costs from £30.00. If you would prefer to travel by train there is a frequent service from London Paddington Station (15 minutes by Heathrow Express from the airport) and costs from about £40.00.
Gatwick Airport: There are frequent link buses from Gatwick to Heathrow if you would like to take a coach to Exeter. If you prefer to travel by train there is a service from Gatwick to Exeter changing at either Reading or London Victoria.
* You can book your coach travel in advance on-line at www.gobycoach.com or we will be happy to reserve a seat for you and send you your tickets if you inform us of your arrival times at least four weeks before you arrive (handling charge £5.00).
Waterloo Station: For students arriving by Eurostar train it is possible to get a connecting rail service direct to Exeter.
Exeter Airport: There are now a number of flights into Exeter Airport from a growing number of European destinations flying via Birmingham airport with British European Airways.
Meeting Service: We are happy to collect groups of students from Heathrow and Gatwick Airport who arrive between the times specified above. From Heathrow collection will cost £40.00 and from Gatwick £50.00. We meet students who arrive at Exeter Airport free of charge and arrange for host families to meet students at Exeter Central train station, Exeter St. David’s train station and Exeter coach station also free of charge.
For departures we can help to organise your return travel to Heathrow or Gatwick airport by coach or train. We also offer a mini-bus service which can take you to Heathrow airport (£40.00) or Gatwick airport (£50.00) for your return flight |
